Summary

Re: CONFIDENTIAL: 04-25-90049, Chief Judge's Order Filed. Ryan Dillon-Capps response states "The Judicial Conduct and Disability Act reflects Congress’s intent to provide the federal judiciary with a formal internal mechanism for investigating and resolving allegations of judicial misconduct or disability. The Act was enacted as a joint effort between Congress and the judiciary to address conduct that may not meet the threshold for impeachment, criminal prosecution, or reversible error, but which nonetheless threatens the effective and impartial administration of justice. It serves not as a punitive tool, but as a safeguard for judicial integrity." The email ends with a respectful and earnest plea to urge Albert Diaz to voluntarily reconsider his choices.
