Summary
CONFIDENTIAL: 04-25-90084(L), Response to July 31, 2025, email. Attached is "04-25-90049--Response to 07-31-2025 email.pdf". The letter is signed by Anowi in blue ink, notated "NA/slp", and states "This acknowledges receipt of your July 31, 2025, email in which you seek to file a petition for review. The only document attached to your email is a copy of my July 10, 2025, letter to you. Your email does not correct the deficiencies noted in my letter of July 10, nor does it comply with the requirements of Local Rule 18(b). In my letter, I advised you that my office was in receipt of multiple documents from you and that, if you intended one of those documents to be a petition for review, you should “resubmit only that document, clearly labeled ‘petition for review.’” Furthermore, a petition for review filed by email “must be in PDF format.” 4th Cir. Rule 18(b), Fourth Circuit Rules for Judicial-Conduct and Judicial-Disability Proceedings. Accordingly, my office cannot accept your email as a petition for review. See Rule 18(e), Rules for Judicial-Conduct and Judicial-Disability Proceedings (“If the deficiencies are not corrected, the circuit clerk must reject the petition.”). The deadline for your petition for review was extended to July 31 pursuant to Judicial-Conduct Rule 18(e). The Rules do not provide for any further extensions. Because no further review is available, my office will not reply to further inquiries regarding this matter.
